Qatar Foreign Ministry Spokesperson: We Have No Knowledge of Mediation for Lebanon Ceasefire

The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We have no information about mediation for a ceasefire in Lebanon

The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that there is no official mediation process for establishing a ceasefire in Lebanon and said we have no information about a direct connection between the ceasefire proposal in Lebanon and the ceasefire proposal in Gaza.

He said there is a connection and overlap between the Gaza and Lebanon cases, and although the war situation is unified, there are different communication processes.

He emphasized that Doha had warned from the very first day about the danger of the war spreading beyond the Gaza Strip.

In this context, Netanyahu’s office denied the existence of orders to reduce the scale of attacks against Lebanon and announced that Netanyahu has not yet responded to the proposals from the United States and France.
