Rafael Grossi: Iran is not completely transparent about its nuclear program

Rafael Grossi, the Iranian representative, is not completely transparent about their nuclear program.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency has warned that Iran is not completely transparent about its nuclear program and criticized the remarks of a former Iranian official about the Islamic Republic’s ability to acquire nuclear weapons.

Rafael Grossi said on Tuesday, February 13, during the World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that Iran does not demonstrate complete transparency when it comes to its nuclear program.

He also indirectly referred to recent remarks by Ali Akbar Salehi, the former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, who has been making inconsistent statements about nuclear weapons, including a recent statement by a high-ranking official in Iran who said, ‘We have everything and it is not put together. Please inform me what you have.’

Ali Akbar Salehi said in a televised program of the Iranian government, which was broadcast on Monday, that the Islamic Republic has all the nuclear science and technology thresholds.
