Rafael Grossi: The Harris administration will return to the JCPOA
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, stated on Wednesday evening, quoting his sources, that based on the information he has, if Kamala Harris wins the U.S. presidential election in November, she is ready to return to the Iran nuclear agreement.
According to a report by Russia’s TASS news agency, Grossi added, ‘I do not have information about the decision of a potential Republican administration. If the Republicans win, they will announce their own position. However, we are in contact with the Harris administration, and they are interested in returning to some form of nuclear agreement.’
In the U.S. presidential election, which will be held on November 5th, Kamala Harris, the Vice President of the United States and the Democratic Party candidate, and Donald Trump, the former President of the United States and the Republican Party candidate, are in a close and tight race.
According to the latest polls conducted by American polling centers, the Democratic Party candidate is leading Trump by a small margin.
