Rasoul Khadem’s reaction to Farzaneh Fasihi’s championship: A voice that needs to reach the ears of the Taliban decision-makers

Rasoul Khadem, the Iranian wrestling champion, wrote in response to Farzaneh Fasihi’s championship in the indoor Asian Speed Skating competition. He mentioned steps that not only do not just open the finish line but also bring down incorrect thoughts and social obstacles resulting from them. These steps should have their voice reach the ears of the conservative lawmakers and decision-makers influenced by Taliban thinking.

After winning the championship in the 60-meter indoor Asian Speed Skating competition, Farzaneh Fasihi dedicated her victory to the Iranian people with her cheers. She did not celebrate with the flag of the Islamic Republic and did not run in the arena.

During the medal presentation, Fasihi went to the podium without the flag held high above it. There was no joy on her face, and she did not sing the national anthem of the Islamic Republic. However, it was clear that she was crying and shedding tears.
