Reactions to Israel's Shooting During Food Delivery

Reactions to the shooting by Israel during the delivery of food supplies

After Israeli forces opened fire towards a crowd of unarmed Palestinian civilians seeking food aid, a wave of global reactions to this incident unfolded.

Ursula von der Leyen and Charles Michel, as two senior officials of the European Union, called for an investigation into the killing of Palestinians waiting for humanitarian food packages.

The Gaza Health Ministry claims that over 100 non-combatants were killed in the attack by Israeli forces on people waiting for food aid on Friday.

On the other hand, the Israeli army states that the crowding of thousands of Gaza residents around a convoy of 38 trucks led to the killing and injuring of dozens, with some individuals being crushed by the trucks. However, an Israeli source admitted that soldiers of the country fired towards the present crowd, thinking that the crowd could pose a threat against them.
