Complaint filed against Raisi in Switzerland on charges of crimes against humanity

Ebrahim Raisi was supposed to attend the Global Refugee Forum, which is scheduled to take place in Geneva from December 13 to 15. However, the United Nations announced on Monday afternoon that Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, will lead the Iranian delegation instead of Ebrahim Raisi. Therefore, the President of Iran may not attend this trip at all.

A complaint was filed in Switzerland on Monday, requesting the authorities of this country to arrest Ebrahim Raisi during his trip to Geneva this week and prosecute him on charges of crimes against humanity for the mass executions of opponents in 1988 and the executions in 1967.
