The country’s student councils have reported the worsening condition of Armita Pavir, a detained student in Tabriz Central Prison, following a dry hunger strike.

The country’s student councils, quoting Ms. Pavir’s family, have published news stating that their daughter started a dry hunger strike on the first of Azar and has been transferred to the infirmary.

According to this, Armita Pavir’s family members found out about her deteriorating condition after inquiring from Tabriz Central Prison.

However, prison officials are not allowing Ms. Pavir to speak with her family by phone.
