Disclosure of Theft of Confidential Government Documents by Trump
With the release of the redacted text of the warrant requesting the search of Trump’s premises, the extent of the theft of confidential government documents by him and his associates has been largely exposed. According to this warrant, before the recent search and in early 2022, 15 boxes containing 184 classified documents, among which 25 documents were particularly highly confidential, were retrieved from Trump. These documents are separate from the documents that federal officials discovered and succeeded in retrieving during the recent search.
