Saudi Foreign Minister says dialogue with Damascus is necessary

The Saudi Foreign Minister says that dialogue with Damascus is necessary.

The Saudi Foreign Minister stated that all Arab countries agree that the situation in Syria should not continue in this way.

According to the news website Al-Mayadeen, after the publication of news confirming and denying the visit of Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Foreign Minister, to Damascus, he said during his stay in Munich that he will never talk about the reports regarding his trip to Syria.

Bin Farhan stated that not only in the Gulf countries but also in the Arab world, there is a consensus that the situation in Syria should not continue in this way.

The Saudi Foreign Minister added that we need to reconsider the way we address the crisis and repatriate refugees.

He continued that due to the earthquakes that occurred in Syria, there are many problems, and resolving the refugee crisis and the earthquake disaster should be done through dialogue with Damascus.
