Sending Humanitarian Aid from Armenia to Turkey

Armenia has sent a convoy of humanitarian aid trucks to the earthquake victims in Turkey.

Armenian officials say this is the first time since 1993 that there has been a crossing from the land border between Armenia and Turkey.

General Güllich, a Turkish diplomat, has expressed gratitude for the aid by sharing images of the Armenian convoy of trucks.

Historically, the relationship between the two countries has not been warm, and Turkey’s support for Azerbaijan in the Karabakh war has not been positive for Yerevan.
