Siamak Simkanpour Sangnavard Shirazi is in custody.

Siamak Simkanpour Sangnavard, a 35-year-old climber in Shiraz, was arrested at his workplace by security forces following a series of climber arrests and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence in Shiraz.

He has told his family in a phone call that he is under heavy pressure to make a forced confession.

The family announced that they were under intense pressure not to publicize the news of this climber’s arrest.
