Some retirees' pension reduced by one million tomans

A deduction of one million tomans was made from the pension of some retirees.

Following widespread protests, the Social Security Organization announced that the deducted amount from the pension of some retirees for the month of Esfand will be refunded.

Iranian media reported on Monday, 20th of Esfand, that the Social Security Organization has deposited the pension for the month of Esfand for some retirees after deducting one million tomans from it.

Following this, Mohammad Asadi, the head of the Retirees Association of the Social Security Organization, told the IRIB news agency that the deduction of this amount was intended for the transfer of shares of Amir Kabir Petrochemicals to retirees.
