Spokesman for Faraja: 18,500 thieves were arrested during Nowruz

Commander Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi, the spokesman for Faraja, stated that in the Nowruz operation, more than 18,500 thieves were arrested. He mentioned that this year, the occurrence of thefts during Nowruz has decreased by 22% compared to the same period last year.

The spokesman for Faraja listed the reduction and control of theft as special police measures during these days. He stated that this year during Nowruz, the highest reductions were related to a 33% decrease in home thefts and a 22% decrease in car thefts compared to the same period last year.

Commander Montazer al-Mahdi added that during this period, the discovery of stolen cars had a 114% increase compared to last year, making it one of the best police performances in the field of discoveries.
