Statement of Cultural Trade Unions in Protest against Executions

The Coordination Council of Cultural Trade Unions in Iran has issued statements calling for the cessation of executions of protesters and their retrial.

In this statement, which has been published in the trade union’s Telegram channel, it is clear that if this process is carried out according to the law, it will become apparent how ruthlessly and mercilessly these unjust verdicts have been issued to instill fear and terror in society and silence the voice of protest against injustice, discrimination, and unfairness. However, the policy of fear and pressure, until the cycle of oppression and injustice accelerates, not only has the least effect, but ultimately it will burn the foundations of tyranny and injustice.
