The verdict of six years in prison for Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi, the Tehran Bus Drivers' Syndicate has been confirmed

The bus drivers’ syndicate in Tehran has confirmed the verdict of six years imprisonment for Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi.

According to the workers’ syndicate of the Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company, the immediate verdicts of six years imprisonment and two years exile for Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi have been confirmed by the appellate court.

According to a Telegram channel affiliated with this syndicate, these labor activists were tried on charges of propaganda against the system and society and collusion to commit crimes against national security.

In a statement released by this syndicate, it is stated that the confirmation of the unjust verdicts of six years of imprisonment and two years of exile, as well as the prohibition of activities against imprisoned workers Reza Shahabi and Hassan Saeedi, has caused even more anger and disgust among their families and all of us. Our colleagues must be immediately and unconditionally released.
