Telegram is in trouble in South Korea as well

Offenders who have exploited the structures generating these videos for profit are using two key features of Telegram. One is that by registering a mobile phone number, they can join this social network without needing any other data or information about themselves and remain anonymous, and the other is that there is no way to break the barrier of private messages of these offenders. South Korean officials have announced that they will cooperate and consult with French authorities involved in the Durov case in their special investigations regarding Telegram. A strange period has arrived for this social network.
News reports about the Russian invasion crisis in Ukraine and recent Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilian and non-military facilities were widely referenced with information from Western journalists from Ukrainian Telegram channels.
Telegram has also gained importance in news related to Hamas, and it was Telegram where Hamas published the ominous video of the last messages of Israeli hostages before execution. Western media have suddenly discovered Telegram.
