The average temperature of the recent decade in Iran has increased by two degrees compared to the average temperature of the decade five decades ago.

According to Ahad Vazifeh, the head of the National Center for Climate and Crisis Management of the Iranian Meteorological Organization, each degree increase in temperature increases water evaporation by about seven percent. He stated that the trend of rainfall has also decreased in recent decades.
