The Beginning of a New Era for Greece’s Economy with the End of Crisis Management
The period of maximum supervision by the European Union over Greece’s economy, which began after the country’s economic and financial crisis with the establishment of a structure to control its economic and financial interactions, has finally come to an end.
Since 2010, at least three rounds of financial aid from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund have been provided to Greece, amounting to over 260 billion euros. The main conditions of these aids and the consequences of implementing strict austerity policies put heavy pressure on the Greeks. Today is a great day for the people of Greece.
