The death sentence for Mohammad Baroughani has been cancelled.

The Iranian Judiciary News Agency, Mizan, reports that the Supreme Court of the country has accepted the request for a retrial of Mohammad Baroughani, one of the detainees of recent protests, and his case has been referred to another branch of the Revolutionary Court.

Mohammad Baroughani is one of the dozens of defendants who have been sentenced to death.
