The head of the Cinema Organization on unveiled actresses: they should change their behavior

The head of the Cinema Organization says that unveiled actresses should change their behavior

Mohammad Khazaei, the head of the Cinema Organization of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, emphasized again the ban on actresses who do not observe Islamic hijab in a television program. He said that those who have been discovered not wearing hijab cannot act. This is not something new and has not been announced now.

In continuation of this program, the head of the Cinema Organization stated that some of them are pressuring others to change their positions and they should change their behavior. They should say that we do not want to be like this and we should not undermine the laws.

It seems that Mr. Khazaei’s reference to the reaction of actresses such as Taraneh Alidoosti, Hangameh Ghaziani, and Katayoun Riahi on social networks, where they emphasized their previous positions and said that they no longer want to play a role in Iranian cinema, especially with compulsory covering.
