The Head of the Islamic Center of Hamburg Filed a Complaint Against His Dismissal Order in Administrative Court

The head of the Islamic Center of Hamburg filed a lawsuit against his expulsion order in administrative court.

Mohammad Hadi Mofatteh, the head of the Islamic Center of Hamburg, has filed a lawsuit against his expulsion order in the Hamburg administrative court.

According to a spokesperson for the Hamburg administrative court, Mofatteh’s complaint was submitted to the court as an urgent request on the evening of Tuesday, September 10th, 20th of Shahrivar. Meanwhile, he has until midnight on Wednesday, September 11th, to leave Germany. The court spokesperson stated that this request does not affect his deadline to leave Germany.

According to the court spokesperson, the timing of the decision on this complaint depends on whether the internal authorities of the Hamburg state are determined to proceed with Mofatteh’s expulsion if necessary. The Hamburg Ministry of the Interior is expected to issue a statement on this matter this afternoon.
