The Minister of Communications' reaction to the internet disruption was a technical problem and I deny a cyber attack

The Minister of Communications’ response to the internet disruption is that it was due to a technical issue and he denies any cyber attack.

Eisa Zarapour, the Minister of Communications in Iran, states that the recent internet disruptions in the country were due to technical reasons and he denies any cyber attack.

Zarapour told Tasnim News Agency that on Saturday, there was a technical issue in the country’s infrastructure network, and for about half an hour, maybe 25% of the country’s capacity was affected.

According to him, today, due to rainfall in Khuzestan, 30% of mobile sites have been disconnected.

The Iranian Minister of Communications, in response to the cyber attack allegations, said that there have been no attacks whatsoever and it was purely a technical issue.
