The Ministry of Guidance stated that journalism is considered a difficult profession.

The Ministry of Culture announced that journalism is considered a difficult profession.

Iman Shamsaei, the Director General of Domestic Press and Media at the Ministry of Culture, wrote in a letter to the Labor Office of Khorasan Razavi Province that according to Article 11, Clause 3 of the regulations on difficult and harmful professions, journalism is considered a difficult profession, and journalists are subject to this law and must retire earlier than the scheduled retirement age.
