The National Movement Party of Turkey is the earthquake center of Erdogan’s office.

Meral Aksener, the leader of the National Movement Party and one of Turkey’s opposition figures, holds President Recep Tayyip Erdogan responsible for the massive damages caused by recent earthquakes that shook the southern part of the country and resulted in the death of over 4,200 people. Aksener stated during an intra-party meeting on Thursday that Erdogan and his government were solely responsible for the immense destruction caused by the earthquakes. Aksener added that Erdogan’s one-man regime in Turkey only creates crises and disasters. While acknowledging that earthquakes are natural disasters, Aksener emphasized that the person responsible for this natural tragedy that ended in a disaster is Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Aksener referred to Erdogan’s presidential office in Ankara as the epicenter of the recent earthquake.
