The Prime Minister of Armenia has not yet handed over Armenia's weapons to Russia

The Prime Minister of Armenia says that Russia has not yet delivered the weapons to Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, says that Russia has not yet delivered the weapons for which Armenia has paid the cost.

Mr. Pashinyan said on the second day of December that he has invited Russia for discussions on this matter in order to resolve the issue in a friendly atmosphere.

He also added that, by referring to the Moscow war with Ukraine, he knows that his country needs weapons in these circumstances.

The Prime Minister of Armenia also stated that no steps should be taken in terms of interfering in the country’s internal affairs and destabilizing the political situation, with reference to the bilateral agreement between Armenia and Russia.

Relations between Russia and Armenia have darkened in recent months, and the Prime Minister of Armenia accused Moscow of not supporting his country in the conflict with its long-standing rival, Azerbaijan, over the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh region.
