The US ambassador left the room during Amir-Abdollahian’s speech.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the ambassador of this country intentionally did not attend the council chamber during the Iranian Foreign Minister’s speech.

Ned Price, the spokesperson for the US State Department, said in a press conference that there was only one person representing the United States to take notes in the chamber.

He said we did not want our ambassador to be present in his position during Iran’s speech.
