Three major cities in Iran are still grappling with pollution

The head of the National Center for Weather Forecasting and Crisis Management in Iran reported air pollution in the three major cities of Tehran, Karaj, and Arak for the next two days.

Sadegh Ziyaian told ISNA news agency that on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 5th and 6th, an increase in atmospheric pollutants is expected in the cities of Tehran, Karaj, and Arak from early evening.

Tejarat News also wrote that due to air pollution, schools and offices in Alborz province, which are closed yesterday and today, Sunday and Monday, February 3rd and 4th, might also be declared closed for Tuesday, February 5th.

The site mentioned that up to this moment, no news has been released regarding the closure of offices and schools in Alborz for tomorrow, February 5th. We must wait for the Alborz air pollution task force meeting this afternoon and their decision about the closure on Tuesday, February 5th.
