The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that on December 26 at 1:35 Moscow time, Russian air defense shot down a Ukrainian drone flying at low altitude as it approached the Engels-2 military base in the Saratov region.

Three Russian military personnel were killed due to the impact of the war drone debris in this attack.
