UN Consultation with the Hague Court on Palestine

The United Nations General Assembly has requested the International Court of Justice to provide a legal opinion on the occupation of Palestinian territories by Israel.

This resolution was supported by Russia, China, and Arab countries. Portugal also expressed its support, but the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany voted against the proposal, stating that such an action is not helpful.
