US Disagrees with Britain's Labeling of the IRGC as a Terrorist Organization

The United States considers Britain’s recognition of the IRGC as a terrorist organization as a disagreement

According to the Daily Telegraph, the US believes that the British government can play a key role in diplomatic relations with the Iranian government, but if it declares the IRGC as illegal, this role will be weakened

Based on this report, the British Foreign Ministry uses the US’s opposition to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ classification of the IRGC as a terrorist organization, although the US itself had previously listed this entity as a terrorist organization during Donald Trump’s presidency

If the IRGC is declared a terrorist organization, participating in its activities, supporting it, or displaying its symbols in public will be considered a crime

The Daily Telegraph reminds that this entity was established after the February 1979 revolution, but today it has become a major military, political, and economic force in the country
