Wearing masks in pharmacies became mandatory

The Food and Drug Organization has issued guidelines on how pharmacy staff should dress, including the requirement for all female employees, including the technical supervisor and other staff, to wear black masks. Technical supervisors must wear white uniforms and use name tags.

In addition, all non-pharmacist pharmacy employees must wear green or blue uniforms. Furthermore, all pharmacies are required to display a copy of these guidelines in a visible place for pharmacy visitors.

All pharmacy staff are obligated to adhere to professional pharmaceutical ethics and all Islamic and legal matters in all aspects of service provision in the pharmacy. The pharmacy owner must supervise the compliance with these requirements by other pharmacy staff.
