Extensive corruption of Hamidi Rad in Shazand Petrochemical

According to Iran Gate, Hamidi Rad was appointed as the CEO of Shazand Petrochemical six months ago, but due to extensive corruption in Shazand, he was dismissed a few days ago and Khalili Nia was appointed as the new CEO of Shazand.

Hamidi Rad’s poor management in Shazand Petrochemical has led to a situation where, despite competing in the domestic and export markets for the refined oil products produced by refineries, Shazand Petrochemical, as a consumer of these products, does not even have the ability to purchase the necessary oil products domestically. Instead, it purchases them from the stock market officials and profiteers like Hamidi Rad, who buy at the subsidized exchange rate and export at the free market rate.

With Hamidi Rad’s weak performance, we will soon witness the decline of Shazand and the consumers of Shazand, such as ethanol, diethyl hexanol, vinyl acetate, and ethylene oxide, will face problems.
