Zelensky Accuses North Korea of Sending Troops to Support Russian Army

Zelensky accused North Korea of sending troops to support the Russian army

The close relationship between Moscow and Pyongyang has long been recognized, and the fact that North Korea helps its ally Russia by sending weapons has been an open secret for a long time. However, there are now indications that not only equipment but also personnel from North Korea have participated in Russia’s offensive operations against Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, accused North Korea of dispatching manpower to support Russia’s advancement in Ukraine. On Sunday, October 13th, he said in a video message, ‘We are witnessing an increasing alliance between Russia and regimes like North Korea.’

Zelensky pointed out that it is no longer just about sending weapons, but North Korean soldiers have also been sent to support the occupying forces.
