Resignation of the CEO of Alahli Bank in Saudi Arabia

The chairman of the board of directors of Alahli Bank resigned after Saudi Arabia lost a significant portion of its investment in Credit Suisse bank.

In a statement, Alahli Bank in Saudi Arabia announced that Emad Al-Khudairi is stepping down from his position for personal reasons, and Saeed Mohammed Al-Ghamdi will replace him as the CEO of the bank.

Al-Khudairi’s resignation came a few days after his statements about not investing further in the Swiss bank caused Credit Suisse’s shares to reach their lowest level.
