Serious increase in economic crisis in Iran

Ettemad newspaper reported on alternative methods for purchasing protein products, including returning to barter trade and employing workers to produce chicken meat.

This report highlights the growing number of individuals in certain meat and chicken shops in Tehran who cannot afford to buy meat and chicken. Ettemad quoted a Twitter user who wrote about a charity initiative to settle the debts of the needy in butcher shops, but discovered that most of the debts were related to chicken skin and chicken feet.

In another section of this report, it is also mentioned that some shops in lower-income neighborhoods are closing their accounts and some of them intend to change professions because even some people cannot afford to buy chicken hearts and livers, and staying in this market does not benefit them either.
