While the official exchange rate of the national exchange on Thursday, 17th Esfand, was announced as 46,629 tomans, according to unofficial websites, the price of the free market dollar has once again returned to 51,000 tomans.

Tasnim News Agency mentioned the exchange rate of the dollar in the free market as 49,135 tomans and the price of the pound as 59,723 tomans on Thursday. However, according to unofficial websites that record the prices of foreign currencies in Iran, the exchange rate of the British pound was announced as 60,550 tomans and each euro was traded at a price of 53,900 tomans.

Each US dollar has also been recorded at 51,200 tomans in the Iranian free and unofficial market. The price of the dollar had decreased to about 49,000 tomans on Tuesday.
