Power cut in 17 high-consumption offices in Tehran

IRNA news agency reports that, upon the order of the Ministry of Energy of Iran, power supply to 17 office subscribers who have not reduced their electricity consumption has been cut off.

This decision has been made as part of the plan to deal with high-consumption offices and also due to the recent increase in temperature.

Previously, based on a government resolution in Iran, administrative departments were required to reduce their electricity consumption by 30% during office hours and by 60% during non-office hours.

The implementation of this resolution had been mandatory for all executive bodies, banks, and non-governmental public institutions.
