A group of Haft Tapeh workers gathered today, April 29, 2023, to protest the implementation and amendment of the unfavorable harmonization of the living conditions of health insurance, lack of salary increase, and failure to address workers’ demands.

Based on the published videos, Ibrahim Abbasi, a labor activist, spoke at this gathering. In a part of his speech, he said that strike and protest are our legal rights, and we demand harmonization.

Furthermore, he urged workers across the country and market vendors not to remain silent in the face of this salary increase.

In the last days of the previous year, the Supreme Labor Council announced a 21% increase in workers’ wages for the new year.
