Purchase of 972 houses in Turkey by Iranians

While it was expected that the foreign investment flow into the real estate sector of Turkey would decrease or halt for a while after the devastating earthquake on February 6, 2023, according to the statistics of the Turkish Statistical Institute, Iranians have purchased 446 houses in February and 526 houses in January in Turkey.

In other words, Iranian citizens have bought a total of 972 properties in Turkey in the first two months of 2023, estimated to be worth more than 16 trillion tomans in Iranian rials, which is approximately 42,000 US dollars.

According to Turkish statistics, Iranians rank second in property purchases after Russians, and they have a significant lead over Iraqis, who are in third place.
