While the government had predicted to collect taxes from owners of cars worth over 15 billion tomans next year, the parliament added another 15 billion to this amount, requiring owners of cars worth over 3 billion tomans to pay taxes.

Since the government had predicted to earn 7,070 billion tomans from luxury cars, achieving this amount through changes in the prices of taxable cars has become shrouded in uncertainty.
