51% Share of Pride and Peugeot in Deadly Norooz Accidents

51% share of accidents during the deadly Nowruz holidays belongs to Pride and Peugeot cars.

A traffic police official announced that from February 13th to April 3rd, more than 85,000 road accidents occurred, resulting in the loss of 871 lives.

Timur Hosseini, deputy chief of traffic police, stated that in fatal accidents, 27% of the vehicles involved were Peugeot, 24% were Pride, 5% were foreign cars, and the rest were various other types of vehicles, including motorcycles.

The 51% share of Pride and Peugeot cars in the deadly accidents of Nowruz 1402 indicates that this casualty statistic has remained relatively unchanged in previous years. In fact, in 1396, the law enforcement authorities also declared that 52% of the total accident fatalities were occupants of Pride and Peugeot cars.
