A member of the National Security Commission of the Parliament should not have facilitated Rafael Grossi's visit to Iran

The member of the National Security Commission of the Parliament should not have allowed Rafael Grossi to come to Iran.

Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, told ILNA news agency that in his opinion, the JCPOA issue has been closed for a long time.

Mr. Abbaszadeh Meshkini stated that with the departure of the Hassan Rouhani government and the formation of the new government, the JCPOA file has practically been closed.

This member of the National Security Commission has opposed the visit of Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to Iran and claimed that every time Mr. Grossi visits Iran, he collects and summarizes information and then uses it against us.

He said, ‘I believe that Grossi should not have been allowed to come to Iran at all because he takes the information he gathers and uses it against us.’

Rafael Grossi, the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has traveled to Tehran to meet with Iranian officials.
