Zakani’s reaction to the publication of salary slips

Zakani, the mayor of Tehran, stated that regarding the salaries and benefits of Tehran municipality employees, I announce all the details, including salary caps, annually based on what is stipulated in the legal provisions, so that no one can receive more than what is determined by the law. Therefore, the payments in Tehran municipality are completely within the framework of the law.

Among the 104,000 personnel of Tehran municipality, there are eight individuals who have special circumstances and receive salaries beyond the predetermined cap. However, paying salaries above the cap to these eight individuals is legal, considering their specific conditions.
