The decrease in the price of the US dollar in the free market of Iran

The decrease in the price of the US dollar in the free market of Iran continued over the past two days and reached 49,050 tomans on Tuesday.

According to unofficial websites that record the prices of foreign currencies in Iran, the exchange rate of the British pound was announced as 59,100 tomans on Tuesday, and each euro was traded at 52,450 tomans.

It seems that, according to market analysts, recent political developments regarding Iran’s nuclear activities have led to a decrease in the price of foreign currencies in Iran.

Furthermore, Western diplomats informed the French news agency on Monday, 15th of Esfand, that the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency will not issue a new resolution against the Islamic Republic due to Iran’s retreat and the commitments made during the recent visit of the agency’s director-general to the country.
