Attila Hejazi appointed as the caretaker of Esteghlal

Attila Hajazi became the caretaker of Esteghlal.

Attila Hajazi, a former player of Esteghlal and the son of Nasser Hajazi, a legend of this club, was chosen as the new caretaker of the Blues.

He wore the Esteghlal jersey in the second half of the 1970s and was also an assistant coach of the team for a while.

Attila has a history of playing in Zob Ahan, Esteghlal Rasht, Saba Battery, and Machine Sazi Tabriz.

After the dismissal of Ali Khatir as the CEO of Esteghlal, Farshid Samii, the new manager of the club, replaced him with Hajazi to take charge of leading the league leaders in the final five weeks.

Hajazi is the third caretaker of Esteghlal in the current season. Ali Samereh, a former club striker, parted ways at the end of the first half of the season due to disagreements. Nasrollah Khajehgiri was the next caretaker who then handed over the position to Attila Hajazi.
