German Parliament Approves Payment Cards for Refugees

The German Parliament has approved a payment card for refugees.

The law on the new payment card system for refugees in Germany, after months of debate and approval in the federal parliament of this country, Bundestag, has now been approved by the Federal Council of Germany, Bundesrat.

The Federal Council of Germany consists of 69 members from representatives of the 16 states of Germany and is considered part of the legislative body in this country.

According to the new law, refugees are supposed to receive some of the benefits they are entitled to through this card in the form of payment with a credit card without cash.
