Ali Shamkhani’s review of the drone attack on Isfahan is not on the agenda.
The special representative of the Russian President for Afghanistan affairs has said that Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, will travel to Moscow next week to participate in a multilateral meeting with a focus on Afghanistan.
Sputnik wrote that this meeting is a continuation of a similar meeting that was hosted by the capital of Tajikistan last year, where secretaries of security councils of India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan negotiated about the situation in Afghanistan.
Zamir Kabulov, the head of the second Asian department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said in an interview with Sputnik news agency that the security situation in Iran following the drone attack on the Ministry of Defense complex in Isfahan will not be the focus of discussions during Mr. Shamkhani’s visit to Moscow.
Iran has dedicated an exclusive file on Shamkhani, and one of the published articles on this subject is titled:
