Elon Musk has donated $2 billion worth of Tesla shares.

According to US stock exchange documents, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, donated nearly $2 billion worth of his shares in the company last year.

The documents do not mention the names of the recipients of these shares.

This is not the first time Elon Musk has donated a portion of his assets.

According to the same documents, he also donated $5.74 billion of his assets in 2021.

Musk also stated on Thursday that it would be a suitable time to find someone to take over as CEO of Twitter in about 10 months.

In a headline-grabbing move last year, Elon Musk acquired control of Twitter by buying a portion of its shares and is currently the CEO of the company himself.
