FIFA helps earthquake victims

The World Football Federation is providing one million dollars in aid to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

FIFA is set to provide one million dollars in emergency humanitarian assistance following the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, which claimed the lives of over 42,000 people and left many others homeless.

According to FIFA’s announcement, after consultations with the Turkish Football Federation (TFF), the Syrian Football Association (SFA), and international and local non-governmental organizations (NGOs), these funds will be used to purchase and distribute essential humanitarian items, as well as provide emergency and temporary shelter.
