Iran’s reaction to Rafael Grossi’s expression of willingness to travel to Iran in March is unlikely due to the busy schedule of travel programs.

Two days after Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, expressed his willingness to travel to Tehran and meet with Iranian officials next month, Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, considered this trip unlikely to take place in March.

Mr. Eslami stated today after the Iranian cabinet meeting that due to the busy schedule, it is unlikely for this trip to take place in March. Considering that we will host the first international nuclear conference in April and have received readiness from various countries to attend, Mr. Grossi has also been invited to speak at the conference.

Two days ago, Mr. Grossi told Reuters that Iran has continued uranium enrichment beyond commercial nuclear needs and announced his intention to travel to Tehran in March next year for the first time in the past year to discuss with Iranian officials.
